The I-15 and I-215 interchange near Midvale is one of the most heavily traveled freeway junctions in Utah, handling traffic from the east bench, the airport corridor, and southern suburbs. The interchange's short merge lanes and high traffic volumes create frequent hard braking events—making it one of the main reasons Midvale drivers need more frequent brake and clutch service.

Daily commuters through the I-15/I-215 interchange experience significant brake wear. If you merge here every day, annual brake inspections are a minimum.
